NAHT Edge app for iPhone and iPad

NAHT Edge is a new type of union and professional association from NAHT for middle leaders in schools who want to take their careers to the next level. Members include people who lead a subject or curriculum area across the school or department; are accountable for pupil development or progress across the school, year or department; develop the teaching practice of other staff; or line manage other staff or are accountable for staff members’ performance. Launched September 2014.

NAHT has extended its membership eligibility with a new affiliate association, known as NAHT Edge. This affiliate is aimed at middle leaders in schools, offering a blend of traditional trade union protection and high quality leadership development, underwritten by NAHTs experienced staff and officers.

To suit the needs of the next generation, NAHT Edge will use online media to create a direct democracy, with all active members creating policy and expressing their voice. The connection with NAHT will enable us to strengthen the bonds between middle and senior leaders and build a strong alliance for a better education system.
